Johnny Walker Launch
On the 1st of November, Johnnie Walker launched the iconic new bottle design for Johnnie Walker Blue Label, a whisky that is widely considered the modern day standard for maturity, smoothness and balance.
As a blend of the world’s rarest single malt whiskies, Johnnie Walker Blue Label, is an epic achievement in the age-old craft of whisky blending. It was thus fitting that this prestigious whisky, known the word over, chose to style the launch event around an exhibition of exceptionally rare objects, each one of which was a perfect example of fine craftsmanship and epic achievement, at Le Chatelat in Sandhurst.
Among these rare items were a 105 year-old bonsai tree, a Mont Blanc pen that is the first of only 100 of its kind, a Breitling Transocean Chronograph 18-Carat Red Gold on brown crocodile skin watch and, the only locally manufactured piece to feature in the exhibition, a hand-crafted guitar by Marc Maingard which took over 200 hours to make
